care instructions
Our jewelry is resistant to heat, cold, and water (fresh and salt water). You can safely bathe, swim, use the sauna, etc.
For our necklaces, bracelets, anklets, and piercings, we recommend cleaning them approximately every six weeks if worn regularly, as body oil, moisturizing creams, shampoos, etc. can build up, especially in the closure. The grub screw should be completely removed from the jewelry, and both the thread and the screw head (Allen key) should be cleaned.
Castles
The oil in the lock cylinder also washes out over time, which can lead to the lock no longer being able to be locked. To prevent this, a drop of oil should be placed in the keyhole at least once a month. Use the key to unlock and lock the lock a few times. Then simply wipe off the excess oil, and you're done.
We only use the following materials:
Stainless steel (material no. 1.4301 DIN 2463)
Composition:
0.07% carbon
1% silicon
2% manganese
0.045% phosphorus
0.030% sulfur
17 to 19% chromium
8.5 to 10.5% nickel
Stainless steel (Wst. No. 1.4571 DIN 671) - SURGICAL STEEL
We use this stainless steel exclusively for our piercings. Its titanium alloy makes it highly resistant to intergranular corrosion.
Composition:
0.08% carbon
1% silicon
2% manganese
0.045% phosphorus
0.015% sulfur
16.5 to 18.5% chromium

We have knowingly sold jewelry to this group of allergy sufferers on several occasions, with the knowledge of the buyers. We are not aware of any allergic reactions to the bound nickel contained in the jewelry.
Our castles:
We exclusively use brand-name locks from ABUS made of brass and titanium, which we then rework for our jewelry. The brass locks are electroplated.
Gold-plated:

Gilding is the process of coating metallic and non-metallic objects with gold. Because of its precious nature, gold is one of the most corrosion-resistant metals.
Rhodium-plated:

Rhodium is a silvery-white, high-melting, hard precious metal. It is harder than gold or platinum. Rhodium has the highest thermal and electrical conductivity of all the platinum group metals.
